Mount Brouilly, Beaujolais 🇫🇷 Hiking through atmospheric misty vineyards | 4K Walking Tour | France

Come along with me on a peaceful, misty morning hike up Mount Brouilly in the beautiful Beaujolais region of France. We’ll wander through the tranquil vineyards of the Brouilly and Côte-de-Brouilly appellations, passing rows of quiet Gamay grape vines that stretch into the fog. Despite it being harvest season, the wet weather earlier in the year seems to have delayed things—but that just adds to the atmosphere of this walk. We’ll also explore a magical stretch of woods that feels straight out of a fantasy novel, before reaching the summit and visiting the historic Chapelle du Mont Brouilly. While the mist may have hidden the views, I think it added a touch of mystery and charm to the experience, making this walk something special. If you're looking for somewhere to hike in France or explore France's wine regions then the Beaujolais could be an ideal destination. This walk was less than 1 hour drive from Lyon which has an international airport and direct train links to Paris.
