Skating Denver on the Cherry Creek Trail [Rollstride Fitness Skate]

An inline skater weaves back and forth over the Cherry Creek in Denver! This ride explores the scenic Rocky Mountain foothills while passing by several suburban communities. This is an 8 mile segment that passes through the Town of Parker. The full trail extends 40miles and heads into downtown Denver. Much of the southern portion travels though the open areas allowing riders to see the mountain tops far into the distance. There's even a couple of spots where Prairie Dogs will pop out of their tunnels! This trail is beginner friendly being generally flat and lots of open area in case you need to bail. Any slope is very gradual and even the longer slopes won't accelerate speed to feel out of control. Only one hill encountered on this segment was a little steeper just South of Mainstreet, Parker. Advanced skaters will enjoy this trail for the long distance and very high visibility to see oncoming traffic far in advance.
