A20s from Ayr, Delays from the south: 3 Hours of Trains at Carlisle 12 November 24 The LSL Class 20s, currently based at their Upperby depot, had been on a Route Learning run to Ayr and are seen heading back to Upperby. The Freightliner Class 70 on loan to Colas heads the Logs via the WCML. The Nunthorpe RHTT is now top and tailed by Class 66s with the Beacon Rail/DRS unbranded 68s are working the RHTT to Whitehaven, Blackburn etc. There were delays on the WCML northbound Avanti and freight workings following a fatality at Rugeley. We see one Euston to Glasgow working almost an hour late. The DRS Tesco train was held at Crewe Basford Hall for around two hours before heading north.
