ガゴ君とカビテのアマデオ散策。 大東亜戦争末期1944年に情報収集と諜報活動の任務の為にフィリピンのルバング島に送り込まれた大日本帝国陸軍小野田寛郎少尉は、終戦を信じず、任務解除の命を受けられないまま、戦後29年間にわたってルバング島で孤独な戦いを展開していましたが、1974年にマルコス大統領の恩赦により無事にルバング島から生還出来ました。 今回はそのルバング島へ、小野田少尉の足跡を辿るべく行ってきました。 Exploring Amadeo, Cavite with Gago. In 1944, at the end of the Greater East Asia War, Second Lieutenant Hiroo Onoda of the Imperial Japanese Army was sent to Lubang Island in the Philippines on an intelligence gathering and espionage mission. He did not believe in the end of the war and could not receive orders to deactivate his mission, and for 29 years after the war, he was fighting a lonely battle on the island of Lubang. In 1974, he was pardoned by President Marcos and returned safely from Lubang Island.
