Welcome back Happytails, Today we installed a couple Soft Starts to our RV Air Conditioners. We will show you a step by step install as well as why we chose these Soft Starts over others. What is a soft Start you may ask???? Well it is just as it sounds. A soft start allows your AC to start slowly in the regards to the AMP draw on your circuit. So instead of an instant 15a hit to your line a soft start allows it to gradually get to 15a. As for the install, These SoftStartRV units are fairly easy DIY. The take about 30 mins to install and set up. we have ran these now for several weeks and have been very pleased with their product. They have recently resized them and made them even more compact!!
