Here are some edible plants found in the coastal area in the south of Sweden. This is just a very short description of there uses. The whole plant of sea kale can be used as food even the root. It´s very good tasting, like cabbage. The leavs of sea plantain and sea aster and the shots of sea milkwort have a nice taste. The shots from orpine are good tasting right now. When the shoots are younger and smaller the taste is not that good. The roots can also be eaten but they have a bad taste. Even after processing them in different ways they still aren´t that good.
