A fabulous area with neolithic burial cairns, hill forts, abandoned farms and prehistoric rock art. One visit can never be enough and I will keep coming back to this area, rich in history, where the ancient past seems closer to the present than normal. I took the fjern gokotta 1, a tent that's not perfect but I seem to be getting on very well with it. Fishfinger sandwiches were also spot on, hard to beat! Unfortunately out visit was cut short by unforseen circumstances, but the right decision was to pack up and hike out.
