Custom Slaughter's Marauders Barbeque - Episode 1 : Plan & Prep

Hey everybody! Welcome to an all new build here at Payne-ted Plastic!! In this build we are going to paint a G.I. Joe Classified Barbeque figure. A very good JoeBro (- JoeMotionVideos82 - on youtube -) contacted me & asked if I would be interested in turning his spare Classified BBQ figure into a Slaughter's Marauders BBQ. I said of coarse & we discussed the final look. This episode is all about the prep work. I begin by disassembling the figure. To do this I use the 'Boil & Pop' technique. Basically, you dunk the figure in just boiled water for 20-30 seconds & then gently pull the limb off. If the plastic is warm enough the joints come apart very easily. Next I do a bit of masking. Using Tamiya 18mm masking tape, I go around the areas i don't want to get painted. As always, thank you for watching! Please like & subscribe for more great videos.
