In this episode, Noel takes us through his review of the new Lost "Mod Quad." He starts by comparing the PU/Poly and Black Sheep constructions, sharing his thoughts on which one performed better. Noel highlights how both boards performed well in the pool, but the PU/Poly construction felt especially magical. From there, he dives into the unique features of the Mod Quad and what sets it apart from other boards. Eric then shares his experience testing the Mod Quad in small, gutless North Florida waves. Initially, he was skeptical about the stock 5'8" (29L) board, especially because the rails felt so thin, raising concerns about flotation. However, to Eric's surprise, the Mod Quad impressed from the very first wave, delivering excellent performance. The review wraps up with Noel interviewing Asa about his time riding the Mod Quad at Waco Surf. Asa notes that he enjoyed both board constructions, but agrees that the PU/Poly version truly stood out. For the full breakdown, watch the episode now!
