It has a basic design and a low price tag designed to appeal to sleepers on a tight budget. This mattress is available in a single firmness, 6 out of 10, giving the mattress a medium-firm feel. It has deep sinkage and a moderate level of bounce. If you like deep engagement when sitting or lying on a mattress, this level of sinkage could be right for you. In our performance tests, the Bedstory earned an overall score of 6.49, ranking in the bottom 1% of all mattresses tested to date. Of course, the low price may be an incentive to overlook the poor performance for some sleepers. A queen mattress is only $399, 69% less than the average hybrid mattress. For a hybrid at an unreasonably low price point, the Bedstory technically is that. But also remember, this mattress is not backed by any warranty if materials fail down the road. In my view, this is a huge red flag. It is insanely rare for a mattress brand to not offer a warranty.
