This could fail. I’m building a golf community from scratch — publicly — and this is the beginning. For most of my life, golf was a treat. I couldn’t afford a membership growing up, so I played a few times a year if I was lucky. Even when life got busy, golf never really left me. When I hit my 40s and finally had the time and means to play properly, I threw myself into the game. Joined a club. Played more rounds. Took it seriously. What surprised me was this: even then, I still struggled to find people to play golf with. And yet, the people I do play with regularly have become some of my closest friends. Golf relationships are different — four hours together, real conversations, shared frustration, shared progress. This video explains why that matters, and why I believe golf needs a better sense of community.
