Welcome back to our trip across the Almaty Region of Kazakhstan. In this fifth and final video, we trek through the shrouded mountains of the Ile-Aletau National Park for hours until we reach the pinnacle of beauty in Kazakhstan: Big Almaty Lake. Famous for it's immaculately turquoise waters, this lake is surrounded by vast snow-capped mountains, forming the most jaw-dropping natural scenes. We end our trip back in Almaty city itself, first visiting the historical Republic Square and Central State Museum. We get a further dose of culture at the Central Mosque and have one last taste of horse meat at the Green Bazaar. In a full circle moment, we finish up our adventure right where it began - at the 28 Panfilov Guardsmen Park and Ascension Cathedral.
