#cerebralincubation #drumcover Back in the summer of 2022 I recorded this audition for CEREBRAL INCUBATION. The track is called 𝑭𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑪𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑰𝒏𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑭𝒍𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒔. This is one take, no edits. Just me, my kit, and a lot of pressure. Watching it now feels strange. I see a different version of myself behind the drums, with less control, weaker grip, less intention in every hit and most of all worse/different hand technique.But that’s exactly why I’m posting it today! Because progress doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built slowly, one beat, one mistake, one breakthrough at a time. To every musician grinding in silence: keep going. Your future self will thank you for not quitting! I didn’t get the job back then, being the band US based things were hard to manage.
