Homemade almond butter in your Vitamix | The Hangry Woman

Welcome to my diabetes cooking channel! I love making almond butter in my Vitamix for a few reasons. 1) I know what's actually in my almond butter. 2) I can make my almond butter at one with no oil. 3) I can make batches that I actually can finish. In this video I'm showing you how to realistically make almond butter in a Vitamix A3500 Ascent Series Blender. This requires no oil and no roasting (just make sure you use the proper setting). This takes roughly 10 minutes of your time, but the results are worth it. I found that the key to good almond butter is to blend it for as long as it takes.
