Short chat through some of the visual issues Paul has been experiencing. When we measure Eye Dominance in practice, one method isn’t enough to get the full picture. Today, we have used two Sensory Dominance Tests and three Motor Dominance Tests to get the true picture. Paul is centre dominant which causes visual confusion and inconsistencies in how he picks up the target. He had a fibre optic bead fitted which wasn’t particularly helpful, and that is because there are other issues going on as well (SOME people may find a fibre optic very helpful, as they may a patch or other commercially available product, others will find no positive benefit at all, and may experience deleterious effects) In addition to assessing the dominance issue, we will also address early cataract and dry eye management and prescription shooting lenses to ensure Paul can see better and shoot better!
