Insta360 X5 plus Mic Air – The perfect cockpit filming combo? Liberty XL2

Join me in the cockpit as we take a short local flight to test the Insta360 X5. This flight gives you a glimpse into general aviation and light aircraft operation. I bought this camera primarily as a training aid to allow me to see the instruments, control inputs and where my attention is at any given moment. This will allow me to self-debrief my flights and improve my overall performance as a pilot. I'm also using the Insta360 Mic Air and the Ring Remote. The Mic Air is placed inside my headset cup to record the radio via the audio panel. I started with the Ring Remote on my right index finger but found this to interfere with my use of the finger brakes in this aircraft (Liberty XL2). I ended up moving it to my left index finger which worked much better.
