Writing is a meditation!

I have been threatening to alter the angle of my light table for months now but today I really felt the need to sit and write the slowest script in our western calligraphic tradition, Textualis Quadrata. I did some massive writing this morning with an xheight of 5cm. This really made made want to writing in a much more concerted practise with a broad edged nib. I love TQ and we have a super course on it on Teachable. For me it is one of the best scripts to start a beginner off. This is my geometric version of the script. I developed this to help beginners truly understand the script, its balance and the tools.
