Joseph Palmer and Sons Managing Director Rodney Horin warns a lot of Australian retirees are stepping away from the workforce with “inadequate savings”. Mr Horin’s insights follow a report claiming retirees are being forced to cut costs. “They are retiring with inadequate savings,” Mr Horin told Sky News Business Reporter Edward Boyd. Mr Horin added Australia is witnessing the return of retirees to the workforce. “We are seeing people a few years into retirement realising they haven’t retired with enough savings, and they are looking to return to work which is causing another issue,” he said. “It’s just not enough."
