Therme Manchester Therme Manchester, will be a one-of-a-kind destination that will boost the health and wellness of everyone who visits. Spanning 28 acres (the size of 19-football pitches) Therme Manchester will be the UK’s first city-based wellbeing resort and is expected to become one of the best all season water-based destinations in the world. Features include multiple pools, 18+ waterslides, 30+ saunas and steam rooms, mineral baths, swim up bars and an all-season indoor beach. Trafford Waters Work has already begun to start creating a new sustainable community across 53 acres of land next to the Manchester Ship Canal. Trafford Waters will be a waterside neighbourhood in TraffordCity which will create 3,000 new homes, a new school, health centre, new parks and 800,000 sq. ft of commercial space. Ice Arena The TraffordCity ice arena will be Planet Ice’s biggest venue in the UK and their 15th Ice Arena in the UK. The purpose-built facility will feature a state-of-the-art ice rink, which will also convert into a multi-use event space. As well as hosting ice hockey games, concerts and events, the ice arena will also several varied and inclusive onsite food and drink offerings, including grab & go options, a stylish family dining restaurant and a high-end sports bar. The Padel Club, TraffordCity Padel is the fastest growing sport in the UK. The Padel Club at TraffordCity will be a 1.5-acre development and a c£2m build, which will include 11 courts - 9 covered courts and 2 open air courts, as well as a clubhouse, fitness suite and training space. Surf Resort The £75m development will be the first inland surf destination in the North of England.
