Trying out AzurPolys Fouga CM.170 Magister over LGSK Skiathos International Airport. This is the first jet and the first aircraft by AzurPoly featured on the channel. I've got both the Magister and Epsilon by AzurPoly and I have to say I'm very impressed by their work. Both aircraft are top notch on all fronts. The visual model, flight model, features and sounds are all top notch. The Magister might be slower than a lot of other jets available, but it is still faster than most other aircraft I fly in the sim. And even if it isn't the fastest it is still a lot of fun to fly and is perfect for aerobatics. There is a reason, why the Magister was used by many different aerobatic teams and why quite a few are still flying in private hands. The real Magister first flew in 1952 and was used by over 20 nations all over the world. It was mainly used for training purposes. But was also used for reconnaissance, close air support and aerobatics. This flight was done over the beautiful island of Skiathos. The airfield & surrounding areas are part of an ORBX scenery and the colorful paintsheme of the Magister represents an aircraft of the German "Acrobatic team" which was part of the "Flugzeugführerschule A" (pilot school A). The repaint is one of many great ones done by Rotor50. (The following may include a lot of bad excuses) As you can see parts of the flight were a bit sloppy. Especially the vertical maneuvers were often a bit crooked. Two possible reasons for that are: I haven't flown the Magister that much as of yet and I think I might have overcorrected the crosswind a bit. Another part I wasn't super happy with, was the landing. Somehow, I managed to let it go away from me. I can't even blame the crosswind, as it would have veered to the other side.
