Kargil as a city became famous and mainstream due to the India-Pakistan war of 1999, its only after coming here and living here we discovered how beautiful this place is and has so many hidden treasures of natural beauty. Today we are going to explore one such place, the Churon waterfall of Tambis which is the highest waterfall of Ladakh. 00:00 Summary 00:16 Introduction 01:00 We start from Home 03:09 Trek Starts 06:30 Waterfall 09:02 Tips Tambis is 20 KMs away from Kargil Main City in Suru Valley. The waterfall is a short and easy trek of 2.5 KM from there which takes mostly 1 hour from the starting point in Churon village. This waterfall is very close to the Sapi Lake which is just on the other side of the mountain and there is a little difficult trek which one can take to go from here to reach the Sapi Lake.
