Royal brinjal korma | A Rich & Flavorful Delight| #youtube #trending #recipe #cooking ‎#homemade #brinjal #korma #homemade #healthy #tasty #streetfood #kitchen #skills #healthylifestyle Here’s the Royal Brinjal Korma recipe with slicing instructions: Ingredients: 2 big brinjals (cut into medium-thick round slices) 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp mustard seeds 1 tbsp chana dal 1 onion (finely chopped) 2 tomatoes (pureed or finely chopped) 5-6 green chilies (slit or chopped) 1-inch ginger (grated or minced) 1 cup yogurt (whisked) 1 tsp red chili powder ½ tsp turmeric powder Salt to taste Coriander leaves (for garnish) 2 tbsp oil Instructions: Slice the Brinjal: Wash and cut the brinjals into medium-thick round slices (about ½ cm thick). If desired, soak them in salted water for 10 minutes to reduce bitterness and prevent browning. Fry the Brinjal: Heat oil in a pan and shallow-fry deep fry the brinjal slices until they turn golden brown. Remove and set aside. Temper & Sauté: In the cooking pan, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chana dal and sauté until golden. Prepare the Base: Add chopped onions and cook until soft. Stir in ginger and green chilies. Then, add tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy. Add Spices & Yogurt: Mix in turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Lower the flame and add whisked yogurt, stirring continuously to avoid curdling. Simmer with Brinjal: Gently add the fried brinjal slices, coat them in the gravy, and let them simmer for 5-7 minutes on low heat. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
