So I'm now on month 4 of my first ever ff style budget aquarium... Slight algae problem but for me it's not an issue as I have always considered algae as beneficial in any aquarium.... and in the likes of unplanted goldfish aquariums it's not only beneficial but in my opinion crucial...😁 today I'm doing a 30% water change .... 😲😲😲😲😲 to reduce some of the tannins and to reduce the obvious abundance of nitrates .... and it may also induce the Cory's and white clouds to spawn again I could do with more white cloud fry for my new big ff project ... as I can't afford fish at the moment for it 😆 🤣...how do I know there is an abundance of nitrates ???? the algae growth is telling me ..... it's as plain as the nose on my face 🤣 😂 😆 😹 I don't need a test to tell me what I can see with my eyes lol
