The presentation stems from the Omdena Japan Local Chapter which presented at one of our demo days. Natural disasters are a serious threat in Japan. 🎌 Although the country has well-developed disaster response systems, densely populated cities, and narrow roads make managing the response difficult. By giving individuals information about the most secure route from their homes and places of work, it can increase their awareness of their surroundings and enhance preparedness. Therefore, we built an interactive application and prototype to devise the safest path in the Nakagawa-Ku region, Japan during natural disasters like earthquakes, tsunamis, and floods that helps in prioritizing the citizen's safety in risk-prone zones.
