Son of the sacred Ganga and Goddess Gowri, you are full of compassion and divine grace. You are gloriously present in Thenparankundram and also dwell in other sacred places like Thiruchendur (Sendil), Pazhani, and Swamimalai. O Saravanabhava! You are worshipped in beautiful hill temples, where elephants and monkeys gather. You, with your six mighty shoulders, roam like a majestic elephant. O tender, six-faced Muruga! Worshipped by even Shiva and Brahma, beautiful brother of Ganesha, you hold the divine spear, shining like a spotless lotus. You smile with grace and swiftly ride your peacock into battle, triumphing over the demon Soorapadman. O son of divine Abhirami, I will never forget your sacred name that removes all suffering. You are the savior in this age of Kali, the treasure for those who worship your feet. You destroy inner enemies like desire, bless with your compassionate glance, and are worshipped through the six-syllable mantra by your devotee Ramadasa. ---------------------------------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER: These songs have been uploaded solely for listening pleasure and as an archive to preserve Carnatic music.
