Startup of the Last GE C39-8 in the US, Plus Chasing PN L160 to Telford | July 2022

Despite L160's late start, we arrived in Lansdale early enough to watch Pennsylvania Northeastern 8212 and 5315 start up. PN 8212 is the last operating GE C39-8 in the United States. While sister units can still be found in foreign countries, ex. Conrail 6021 is the last remaining here. After watching the locomotives startup, we catch a inbound Septa train coming into Lansdale Station before going to catch L160 sort the yard. Once work is complete, it heads to Telford to drop off interchange cars for the East Penn Railway, then turns and returns to Lansdale. As always, Thanks for Watching!
