Get your own Apple Silicone Case For The iPhone 17's by using this link: https://mreh.ca/4qdQ2LQ *This is an Amazon affiliate link that will bring you to the right Amazon store for your location #ReviewerNotInfluencer #Reviews #iPhone In this video: 0:00 Intro 0:30 Design 1:12 Handling & Usability 1:49 Protection Features 2:31 Drop Protection 3:46 Up Next Apple Silicone Case For The iPhone 17's Review -design hasn't really changed -several colors to choose from -I've said it before and I'll say it again, Apple's silicone case has the prefect amount of grip -other's tend to have annoying pocket pulling power, the silicone case doesn't -one of the slimmest and smallest cases you can get for your iphone -when it comes the protection -the Apple silicone case always surprises because you don't expect much from a thin, soft, floppy case -for corners, the initial impact was around 9.5g's which is 8% better than the average case -BUT because of its thin design, the case holds onto that drop energy and causes the iPhone to bounce around a lot after the initial drop which isn't great -that drop energy takes around 50% longer to disappear -that seems terrible -BUT because the initial drop is so good, the overall force being absorbed by the iPhone is about 9% better than the average case -so this case has a soft but great landing but the recovery is real messy -face drop is where it falls on its face -in my testing, on a small face drop -the case edge rolls outward -that's because the top edge isn't that tight and the low screen clearance -this is the biggest red flag for this product -for the camera lump, it performed about 8% better than the average case -mostly because of the rigid PC frame around the opening keeps the area stable while the thin back gives a little -it's a far cry from cases with thicker backs but given that this is the smallest case in my current collection, that's saying something. -technically a dual layered case with its PC back and thin layer of rubber -rubbereized finish prevents the case from sliding around -corners are only 1.8mm thick, same with the back -surprisingly ridged case given it's size, it's around 50% more ridged than the average case -below average Magsafe performance relative to other cases -overall, the Magsafe area is about 13% weaker than the average case
