Website: https://www.weldmaster.com Machine Page: https://www.weldmaster.com/t300-extre... We're going to start by taking out all these screws that hold together the orange guard. We're so now that you got your guard removed, we're going to start by just changing out the thermal couple. You can see there's a little screw you can loosen that up. You don't have to loosen it up too much. And once you confirm that your power is off, you can unplug your thermal couple. You then just slide your thermocouple out. Sometimes the used ones can be in there. Just have to move it around and work it loose. So we'll set that aside, and we'll continue and change out the element. We got a little bolt here that holds the element in place as well as the ground. So what I'm going to do is pull that back, just so I can slide this cap up, because then we want to separate it so we can get some spot. So now I can see inside of there. You can see we got little set screws, so I'm going to loosen those just the top set. So you got one on one side and one on the other, and they'll pop out. You got your two leads. Then you’ll remove the element. What you want to look for is broken glass or broken wire. This one's still good, so I'm just going to reinstall it, but then these are what new ones will look like. Got your thermal couple, and then your element. So I'm going to just put this element back in, still in good condition. One thing of note, that hole is going to be facing the arrows. The air flow is going to be coming into that hole, pushing through the element. Also, you got the little pin there that will slide right into position. First, we need to lock these pins in. With the two leads, it doesn't matter which one they go in. You don't want to over tighten these as well. Just by looking see how that one's sitting a lot deeper than the other. I'm going to loosen that up and see if I can get it down a little bit more. So just make sure it bottoms out and I'll slide this cap back on once I get this line back up, and we'll lock that down. Once that's in position, you can take your thermocouple, push it in there, and you can feel free to lock that down now, make sure it's all the way in, though that's very important. Put your thermocouple back together and reassemble your guard. After locking all your screws back in, you're going to test your machine. Can power it up and then heat up your temperature and make sure that it stabilizes. If issues are still occurring.
