The Barnsley singer, author and film historian Dave Cherry continues in his search for the old coal mines of the town in this second part of his fascinating documentaries. He researches nineteenth century maps and archive film to locate the pits. Dave finds one in the middle of a golf course, another behind a town centre pub and others at the side of roads and railways. With the help of drone camera footage he visits the surrounding mining villages to research the many disasters that blighted the high fatality coal industry.
