A short video addressing some issues particular to a below knee amputee. Different shoes heel hights effect your ‘pitch’ and therefore comfort, especially on your residual limb [stump]. Here I'm trying out the new VANS UltraRange Neo VR3 Shoes, in Vintage White/M, to see if they work on my prosthetic. I had my amputation in Oct 2018 after crashing my race bike while motorcycle racing in 1995. My leg was amputated after 23 years of continual pain from a crushed non healing ankle break [TALUS bone]. I am very well looked after by local limb centre [Exeter Mobility Centre] and have an excellent relationship with my superb prosthetist who designs and overlooks and maintains my prosthetic leg. #uk #amputee #prosthetics #youtubevideo #trainers #review
