Oil and water don't mix. And yet it such a simple concept yet no one even thinks about it! Maybe, just maybe the reason your foundation isn't lasting isn't because the new (or old) foundation isn't good but because we are not thinking "like attracts like". If you're using a moisturiser that is oil based and a water based foundation over it - chances are you're cheating yourself out of the longevity of your makeup. Learn to read labels, look for the main ingredients in what you're using and then make an informed decision. Remember for maxim impact: Oil based moisturiser/primer (with spf or not) with Oil based foundations. Water based moisturiser/primer (with spf or not) with water based foundation. Silicone based moisturiser/primer (with spf or not) with silicone based foundation. Feel free to set with powder and or a setting lotion. NOTE: Don't load up on lots and lots of skin care. Unless you have VERY dry skin only use what you really need, which in most cases is either SPF and/or Primer with SPF then foundation. Don't use what you don't need and your make up will last longer - promise. Thank you for your time. Wayne
