Not just as a hobby, but as a genuine part of my care plan. When emotions ran high and thoughts became overwhelming, Magic became my safe space. This video is my story. Of cold baked beans and dorm room loneliness. Of escaping through Magic Online when I lived with someone who wasn’t kind. Of the strange comfort found in shard names, card sleeves, and a two-headed dragon. It’s also about how Magic helped me speak again during a time of selective mutism. About how this channel, and this community, gave me volume and visibility. And yes, it’s about being a gay nerd in a world that doesn’t always make space for either.
