Going on a gnarly MTB Expedition | Europaweg Extended | Zermatt, August 2020

I wanted to check out the rest of the Europaweg to see if it was rideable or not. After a thorough inspection of the trail on the map, I knew that there might be some exposed and critical sections and also that the beginning was going to be an extremely steep uphill climb/push. Even so, the trail turned out to be much more gnarly than expected. There are tons of narrow and extremely exposed sections with rope railings towards the cliff where it is simply too dangerous to ride a bike. Therefore, please don't take your bike on this trail, it's simply way too risky and neither worth the effort nor the risk!!! This is a pure hiking trail and should be treated as such.
