Exploring a Hidden Gem Near Newcastle |Bellingham Waterfall Hike, Cooking Dolma | Peaceful Nature Escape If you love nature vlogs, travel content, hiking trails, UK countryside trips, camping vibes, or cosy couple adventures, you're going to enjoy this one.    / @shoaybmarzia   That week was incredibly busy for both of us, so we couldn’t go camping over the weekend. Instead, we turned our day off into a cosy weekday adventure. After prepping some delicious homemade dolma the night before, we left early in the morning and drove toward Bellingham, a beautiful village about 40 miles from Newcastle. The scenic 80-minute drive through quiet countryside set the perfect tone for the day, and once we arrived, we started the peaceful hike toward the village’s hidden waterfall. The trail was stunning, surrounded by trees, fresh air, and views that made us fall in love with the place instantly. Under the shade of a cliff, we set up our little spot, cooked the dolma, and took in the calm atmosphere around us. When the food was finally ready, right as our hunger was peaking, it tasted even better than we expected. After lunch, we brewed proper tea, enjoyed the warmth of the cup in our hands, and soaked in the serenity. This is one of Marzia's favourite moments: reading a book with fresh tea while surrounded by nature. On our way back, we were lucky enough to spot a beautiful deer that stood still for a few moments before quietly disappearing. We also wanted to stop by the famous train-wagon café in the area, but it was closed, so we ended the trip listening to the sound of sheep along the road, a simple and perfect finish to the day.
