Funding mechanisms for preventative health apps in primary care – Survey outcomes

How should primary healthcare professionals be supported to help patients use health apps for prevention? The Australasian Institute of Digital Health (AIDH) and Centre for Digital Transformation of Health at the University of Melbourne are exploring options for remunerating primary healthcare professionals who support and monitor consumers using preventative health apps. This work is focused on strengthening prevention in primary care and ensuring digital health tools are effectively and sustainably integrated into everyday practice.
