Why is everybody scared of facing corruption in our parliament head on? A recent contribution in the Senate by Isiolo Senator Ms Fatuma Dullo Adan portrays a person who had a lot of information on alleged unorthodox methods used to clear her area Governor and nemesis Mr Hassan Guyo. However, while technicalities seem to be applied to stop on her on her tracks she squanders opportunity to bring formal motion and to garner support in poking holes on the processes used to clear the governor. And while President William Ruto has called out the Parliament over bribery and soko huru allegations, the EACC so far has not announced any processes to nab any soko huru actor! So is corruption in Kenya going to be fought through mere lip service? Until now, that is what it apparent.
