Sajeev Rajaputhra, Chairman of the Rajaputhra Group, is a second-generation entrepreneur with a diverse international background. With companies spanning five industries and a presence in 26 global markets, he brings extensive experience and insight to the business world. Born in Sri Lanka and raised primarily in Japan, Sajeev's education also took him to Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the USA. Now based in Tokyo, he is deeply rooted in the local community, with his five children attending schools where he himself and his sisters also received their education. Having witnessed the transformative power of the internet from its inception during his formative years, Sajeev reflects on the rapid pace of technological advancement and the profound impact it has had on society. With the dawn of the artificial intelligence revolution, he recognizes the imperative to understand the implications for humanity and future generations, particularly as a father and entrepreneur. In his forthcoming TEDx talk, Sajeev will delve into the unprecedented opportunities and challenges presented by the accelerating pace of technological innovation, urging us to contemplate the future landscape and our place within it. Mr. Sajeev Rajaputhra – who is a proud parent of a middle school student here at Seisen, Chairman of the Rajaputhra Group, as well as a St.mary’s alumnus.
