Link “Swamiji’s Kitchen “ Channel / swamijiskitchen 😊 374 Healthy Khichdi -Comfort Food…. Soak 1/2 cup rice and half 1/2 Moong Dal together for 10 minutes with lots of water. In pressure cooker add 1 tbs ghee, the soaked dal and rice without water. Stir, add 1/2 tsp haldi, salt to taste, 3.25 cups water. Cover and cook for 3 whistles. For tempering add 2 tbs ghee in a pan, 1 tsp jeera, 1 tejpatta, pinch of hing, ginger chilli paste , 1 chopped tomato. Sauté till soft. Add 1/2 tsp haldi, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, salt. Stir. Add cooked khichdi in the tempering and 1 cup of water. Mix. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Add coriander leaves. Mix . Serve.
