I highly recommend Pillsbury brand Cake mix, since it makes the thickest batter from experience! This ensures your cake pops are full, round, and dense. Too thin of a batter will distort their shape/fullness Prepare batter according to directions on the back of your box Spray plates with non-stick before using Fill each well of Cake Pop maker up to the rim Cook for 4 Minutes Wipe down/ clean machine with damp rag in between batches Dipping your Cake Pops: Materials Needed: Lollipop Sticks White Melted Chocolate Yellow Oil- based food coloring *Tips: *Dip lollipop sticks into melted chocolate PRIOR to inserting into the cake balls. This ensures they do not fall off the stick! Be sure to set them aside for at least 20 Minutes before dipping Use a mug to dip your cake pops I highly recommend coloring your chocolate instead of buying pre-colored. Many times colored chocolate is stale from sitting out on the shelves, making the chocolate too thick to dip! It will risk your pop from falling off of the stick cracking, or getting lumpy. To color, use a yellow oil-based coloring that is chocolate safe Decorating: -Dark Melted Chocolate (for caps) Black Oil- based food coloring Square Chocolate mold (for caps) -Fondant (for face decorations) Small Cookie cutters in star, circle, bow tie shapes Food Safe Edible Markers Yellow Melted Chocolate to attach fondant Air-heads extremes for tassel _________________________________________________________ Links included in this description might be affiliate links.
