Hello everyone, In this video, we will examine the McLaren Senna model, produced by Rastar in 1/14 scale. The vehicle is named after McLaren's leading F1 driver, Brazilian racing driver Ayrton Senna. Before moving on to the vehicle, I would like to give brief information about this legendary F1 driver. Born in 1960, Senna passed away in 1994 at the age of 34. He won the F1 World Championship 3 times, in 1988, 1990 and 1991. While Senna was at the peak of his career and became an icon not only for McLaren but also for F1 history, he unfortunately lost his life in a very terrible accident. He died in the Tamburello corner on the 7th lap while leading the 1994 San Mariona Grand Prix. This accident is one of the worst situations in F1 history. McLaren named this model after him to honor this legendary racer. A monster has been designed just like it. It was introduced in 2017 as a new model without being a successor to any model. The design of the vehicle focuses entirely on speed. Its design clearly shows that it is a street-adapted version of a race car. A high amount of carbon fiber was used in the vehicle to achieve lightness. Aerodynamic elements are clearly visible at many points of the vehicle. Especially the adjustable double-layer rear wing is one of the most important design elements of the vehicle. Rastar has also produced a very nice model version of this vehicle. It has produced them in three different colors. These colors are orange, yellow and white. In this video, we will examine the orange version, which is the main color of McLaren.
