In This Video We're Setting Up The Pololu Motor Shield For DCC++. This motor shield is rated for 3 amps per channel and can handle up to 28 Volts DC for your DCC++ application. This motor shield is a little more complex than the Arduino Motor Shield. There are a few more wires to connect and the headers and connectors have to be soldered to the board. I will walk you through all the steps required to get this motor shield up and running DCC++ in no time at all. The Pololu Motor Shield is a little more expensive than the other motor shields used for DCC++ but you can't go wrong with the quality of this board.
