Hello Everyone! Spaghetti noodles are a key staple in many home pantry's, including mine. It's my pleasure to share with you 6 recipes in one vlog for this family staple. Ground Beef or Ground Turkey 1- lb. Spaghetti Noodles, cooked al dente 1/2 C. Chopped Onions 1 t. Italian Seasoning 1 t. Kosher Salt 1/4 t. Black Pepper 2- 20 oz. Spaghetti Sauce Cheese Sauce 4 T. Butter 4 T. All-Purpose Flour 2 C. Half and Half or Whole Milk 1/2 C. Colby Jack Cheese 2 T. Grated Parmesan Cheese 1 t. Kosher Salt or to your taste Top casserole with 2 T. Grated Parmesan Cheese and 1 C. of grated Colby Jack Cheese. Cover with foil and bake @350 degrees, 20-25 minutes or until cheese has melted and sides are bubbly. ➡️Spaghetti Carbonara 1 lb. Spaghetti (be sure to salt the water; 2-3 teaspoons Kosher Salt) 1/4 C. Chopped Fresh Parsley 4 Cloves Minced Garlic 4 Pieces Thick Cut Bacon cut up, or 4 ounces of Pancetta or Slab Bacon 2 Large Eggs 2 Egg Yolks 1 C. Grated Parmesan Cheese (divided), or Parmigiano-Reggiano 1/2 t. Coarse Black Pepper (you can use 1 t. of black pepper if you like) 2 C. Reserved starchy pasta water (use 1 to 1 & 1/2 C. when creating the sauce) Optional: 2 Chicken Breast cut up, season to taste with salt and pepper. 2 T. Extra Virgin Olive Oil ➡️Homemade Pasta Sauce: 2-3 T. Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 Medium Yellow Onion (chopped) about 1 1/2 C. to 1 3/4 C. 4-5 Cloves Garlic (Minced) 1/4 C. Chopped Fresh Flat Leaf Italian Parsley, OR 2 T Dried Parsley Flakes 1/4 C. Chopped Fresh Basil Leaves OR 1-2 t. Dried Basil Leaves 1-28oz Can Crushed Tomatoes (I like to use Cento Brand) 1- 28oz Can Tomato Puree (I like to use Cento Brand) Kosher Salt to taste. Optional 1/4 t. Red Pepper Flakes and or Black Pepper Italian Meatballs 1 1/2 lbs. Lean Ground Beef (88/12) 1/2 t. Garlic Salt 1/2 t. Kosher Salt 1/2 t. Onion Powder 1 T. Chopped Parsley 1 Large Egg at Room Temperature 1/2 C. Italian Bread Crumbs or Plain Bread Crumbs 1/4 C. Grated Parmesan Cheese 3/4 C. Warm Water Use ice cream scooper to form and shape meatballs. Cook meatballs gently in olive oil to seal, then finish cooking meatballs in pasta sauce for 30-40 minutes or until done. ➡️Cherry Tomato Pasta 1 lb. Pasta: Spaghetti, Angel Hair or Linguine (be sure to salt the water) 2 Pints Fresh Cherry Tomatoes (4 Cups) 1/4 C. Extra Virgin Olive Oil 5 Cloves Garlic chopped (not minced) 1/3 up to 1/2 C. Fresh Chopped Basil (save 2 T. to garnish pasta) 1 & 1/2 t. Kosher Salt 1/4 t. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (1/2 t. is great too!) 1/3 C. Shredded Parmesan Cheese Plus more for garnish Quick & Light Salad Dressing: Squeeze of Half Fresh Lemon (about a Tablespoon) 1-2 Tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (start with 1 Tablespoon and add as needed) Pinch of Black Pepper 2 Pinches of Coarse Kosher Salt Add plus or minus salt & pepper to your taste ➡️Pasta Primavera 2 T. Olive Oil 2T. Butter 2 Zucchini 1- 8 oz Box Mushrooms (baby bella or cremini) 1- Bundle Asparagus 1- 8-10 oz Pack of Cherry or Grape Tomatoes 4 Garlic Cloves Minced 1 C. Heavy Cream 2/3 C. Grated Parmesan Cheese Kosher Salt to taste Red Pepper Flakes to taste 2 T. Chopped Flat Leaf Parsley 1 lb. Box Spaghetti Noodles Optional Vegetables: String Beans Peas Spinach Yellow Cherry Tomatoes Broccoli Yellow Squash Sauté ingredients in Olive Oil and Butter, adding each bundle one at a time, add heavy cream and simmer. Mix in cooked spaghetti and add in grated parmesan cheese. ➡️Spaghetti Pasta Salad (recipe can be cut in half) -8 C. Boiling Water, Salt water with 1/2 to 1 t. of salt -1 lb. Spaghetti Noodles, break noodles in half before cooking -1/3 of Red Onion sliced and slices placed in bowl of ice-cold water for 15-30intues (this lowers the "pungency" of the onions, so they don't overpower the dish). 1- Large English /Hot House Cucumber Chopped, about 2 Cups 1- 10 oz pack Grape or Cherry Tomatoes sliced in half 1 - 6 oz Can Black Pitted Olives, sliced in half 1- 5-6oz Jar Green Olives with Pimento, sliced in half, keeping the pimento intact 1- 4 oz. Pack Dry Italian Salami cut in 4ths (you can use more salami if you like) 1- 4-8 oz. Pack Hard Salami cut in half (you can use more salami if you like) *you want about a cup or more of each salami sliced 1- 8 oz Pack Monterey Jack or Mozzarella cheese cut into cubes 1- 8 oz. Pack Medium Cheddar Cheese cut into cubes 2-3 T. Chopped Fresh Flat Leaf Parsley or 1-2 t. Dried Parsley Cracked Black Pepper to taste 1- 14 oz Bottle Bernstein's Light Cheese Fantastico! Salad Dressing & Marinade (use 2/3 of the dressing to mix in the salad, save the last 1/3 to mix in just before serving) 1/4 C.
