This is a step by step guide for a 2022 FOX Float 34 Performance Series with a GRIP damper. Want to see more bike service videos? If so, click here • Rockshox SIDLuxe Ultimate A1 Chassis ... IMO, FOX did an outstanding job in making this fork VERY service friendly, as the fork really doesn't require many proprietary tools. The 50 hour service is easy, and there really is no reason why you shouldn't keep on top of it. AFAIK, 50-hour service jobs offer the greatest return out of all mountain bike service jobs. The air spring service is easy. If you want, you can do it during the 50-hour service to keep the grease fresh (no need to change seals), and/or do it every 125-hours or annually to replace the seals. You'll find the GRIP damper very easy to service. FOX Recommends 125 hour service intervals. I believe this depends on riding conditions, so It can be anywhere between 125 and 200 hours. Both forks and shocks LOVE a fresh service, as will you once you feel the difference, so make sure to stay on top of it As always, if there are any questions, let me know, and I'll get to them as soon as I can.
