This is a tool-assisted speedrun (TAS). This time will not count on any real rankings. Created on Dolphin with savestates. This is a proof-of-concept I decided to throw together. I used only the strategies I currently am attempting to employ. This was created with my physical GCN controller connected to my computer via an adapter, so the input range is restricted to that of the GCN. Savestates were used for the start odm, path switch, cavern, and gap cut each lap. The game was played at 80% speed, but I can do all of this in real time. Splits like these will likely never happen in the same run RTA. My original goal was triple 30s, but I had a really hard time getting good segments and barely squeaked out the L2. Each lap on it's own can probably go down another half a second (I know this because my current best segments spliced together give a high 30 L1). This "TAS" took six hours to make, with four of them being taken up by cavern. Each lap took roughly two hours.
