My labs were ‘normal,’ but I didn’t feel normal. This episode is about how I navigated that reality - and what I’m choosing to focus on postpartum. You can be doing everything “right” and still feel exhausted postpartum - that’s where I was. In this episode at ~18 months postpartum, I share what happened when my lab work came back normal, why “normal” didn’t feel like the full picture, and how that led to more testing and harder conversations around weight, BMI, and GLP-1 medications. I talk about my vitamin D results, why I don’t rely on BMI or quick-fix solutions, and why body composition matters more to me - especially with a history of disordered eating. This episode is about navigating long postpartum fatigue, asking better questions, and understanding that normal doesn’t always mean optimal. If you’ve ever been told your labs were ‘normal’ but still felt off, I’d love to hear what that experience was like for you. Let me know in the comments!
