Bali 2022: pros and cons of living on the island. All you need to know about renting a place, vacation tips, work and moving for a permanent residence. Telling how my opinion about this place has changed and why I decided to come back here again from Thailand. How do the expats live: finding a guesthouse, villas and hotels, rental prices and cost of living here. More and more tourists are coming to Bali: so why is everyone so attracted to this place? Is it suitable for living, or it’s just a nice place for holiday to escape from cold winter? Why is everyone so obsessed with this island? Here’s why. Here are the best places to see and to visit, low prices on food and accommodation, wonderful hotels with amazing views, motorbikes rental, a variety of entertainments, like clubs, bars and nightlife. Also here is a huge variety of places for yoga, spa, massage, meditation, sound healing, a unique nature, warm climate and friendly, kind locals: that's the whole secret. The people here are truly unique. The island has both pluses and minuses: overpopulation, traffic, rise in pricing and so on, I’ll make a review about it in the next video. What do you need to move to Bali. Touristic visa is issued on arrival right at the Ngurah Rai airport, Denpasar city (cost $35 at the end of 2022). The airport is located near the city. If you plan to relocate, you can apply for a business visa online, then you will not have to do a visarun and fly out of Indonesia for an extension. Internet and wi-fi is almost everywhere, also you can pay in most of the stores and restaurants by card. Money exchange offices offer almost the same rate everywhere in Indonesia. The areas for living in Bali are very different: Canggu is great for shopping, cool parties, surfing and nightlife. In Ubud you can see the jungle, to practice yoga and meditations, to enjoy the nature without crowd. In Uluwatu you’ll find the ocean and beaches for swimming. Nusa Dua is more about calm family vacation. The distances between the areas is not that big, you can rent a motorcycle and go to the rice fields, a volcano, hiking, enjoy the waterfalls, see unique temples and so on. There is an endless number of places to visit and there is always something to do. How much money you need for a month to live here - depends on your needs and desires. You can save your money, as well as spend a fortune. But, for comparison, prices and cost of living in Indonesia is cheaper than in Thailand or Turkey. The photos and videos locations here are incredible, each area has its own top places to visit. If you want to enjoy gorgeous sunsets, eat exotic fruits and visit stylish restaurants every day, then this is the island for you. By the way, street food here is not as common as in other Asian countries. places visited: Manah Shanti resort Ubud Penny Lane Home cafe Canggu The Woods Perenenan Usha Ukrainian cuisine Pranava yoga Udara yoga Perenenan beach Melasti beach Balangan yoga and love (ocean view) Ubud yoga house Medjan techno club 00:00 my previous experience in Bali 01:44 expectations 02:16 cost of living 02:52 places to eat 04:14 foreigners 05:27 local balinese people 06:42 nature 07:47 hotels 08:28 locations of spa/yoga/sound healings 08:55 sports and spiritual activities 09:27 nightlife, bars and techno clubs 10:01 bikes rental 12:35 taxies and food delivery services 13:32 business opportunities my instagram / svetkkka [email protected]
