Levels on the river were slightly elevated pre-bore. Considering the expected tide height (10.6m), the bore was very disappointing and was hardly noticeable until it approached the beach at Arnside. Things may have been better if the river channel wasn’t so wide. Notice the birds scuttling out of the way on the wall by the bridge towards the end of the video.
