Don’t dwell on how you feel. Try not to sit around and overthink. Its so easy to dwell on how you’re feeling when you’re feeling down, but that only makes things worse. See your thoughts and acknowledge them but don’t attach too much meaning to them. Don’t take them too seriously. 2. There’s always a lesson in what you’re going through. I thought I was at the end of my recovery but obviously its not finished teaching me… at first I was angry, I was thinking why has this happened to me again? I was doing so well, I’d done my suffering. But I feel like I just have to pass this next test to get to my happiness. I believe everything happens for a reason and even if you can’t see the reason, have hope. 3. Know that your hard times won’t last. I like to think about life as living in the moment however sometimes you have to look to the future. Know that you’ve got through this before and if its new to you, know you will get through. Its going to be horrible. Its going to cause you SO much pain mentally and physically but you just have to hang in there and do EVERYTHING you can to make your current situation better 4. Fill your life with fun and positivity Spend time with friends and family and learn to appreciate them, use your time to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, take up a new hobby- i started youtube! Go 5. Know that you will be a better person out of it. This lesson will teach you so many things, you will learn so much about yourself, especially how strong you are.
