At 12:00:05 on Wednesday, February 18th, 2026 the City of Tulsa conducted a weekly test of their Outdoor Warning Sirens which consisted of a 1 minute and 10 second Alert. Jake found this cool shot sometime back so we arranged to meet at it today. More of a “boring” siren but the BOK Tower in the background definitely made this one interesting. You can hear a bunch of other 2910s plus the wind-down of the dual tone analog 4004 at the University of Tulsa INFORMATION Date Recorded: 2/18/26 Main Shot: Nikon Coolpix P950 Second Shot: Canon PowerShot SX540HS Audio: Zoom H1n Weather Conditions: Mostly Sunny System: City of Tulsa Tests: Every Wednesday @ 12:00PM Weather Permitting: Yes Tests Cancel For: Overcast, chance of severe weather Test Cycle: 70 second Alert Time of Activation Today: 12:00:05 Siren Model: Whelen WPS-2910 Controls: ESC-2030 Hertz: 560 Replaced: N/A Siren Location: S Madison Ave & E 5th St, Tulsa, OK 74120 Distance from Siren: About 310ft Sirens Heard: Whelen WPS-2910 (560hz) - 308ft (Wind-down) Whelen WPS-4004 (780/930hz) - 1.65 Miles Also bunch of other 2910s I’d rather not attempt to list Other Enthusiasts Present: TulsaMetroSirens - / @tulsametrosirens Check out my other videos: Recordings: • All of My Siren Recordings Ambiances: • All of My Siren Ambiances I post siren pictures on Instagram: / andrewwt5020 If you would like to use my videos, you do not have to ask, just give credit in the description.
