Composer: Modest Mussorgsky As an amateur trumpet player myself, plus the fact that I had such passionate brass major friends during music high school years, I have be introduced, heavily influenced and fell in love with the Mnozil Brass ensemble. It was because of them (can't remember if I did this arrangement before or after I got to see them live in Korea...) that I got to tackle one of my absolute Russian classical music with the combination of brass instruments. I chose deliberately only the first promenade and the two final pictures for this arrangement as to not be too long of a performance, and the best movements that can showcase the virtuosity of the ensemble. Score created with Musescore, Midi sounds from Musesounds, Video created with Kdenlive. #brass #mussorgsky #musescore #kdenlive 취미로 트럼펫 연주, 예고 시절 금관하는 친구들이랑 자주 음악 생활 했을때 Mnozil Brass라는 금관 7중주 (트럼펫 3, 트럼본 3 & 튜바) 오스트리아 비루투오소 앙상블을 소개 받았습니다. 시간은 흘러, 운 좋게 제가 살던 동네에 Mnozil Brass가 내한 공연에 제가 보게 됐습니다. 아무래도 그 앙상블의 파워풀한 연주 실력에 감명 받아 제가 즐겨 듣는 Mussorgsky의 전람회의 그림으로부터 가져와 첫 Promenade랑 마지막 2 그림(악장)을 같은 악기 편성으로 편곡 했습니다. 작업은 2021년 8월에 완성됐고, 언젠가 소리 거대한 금관 앙상블이 연주하는 날을 기다려 봅니다!!
